A new makuuchi wrestler Takanosho

One wrestler was promoted to the top division at 2018 september sumo tournament that finished on the other day.

He is Takanosho from Chiganoura-beya.

He finished his first tournament in the top division with a winning record. He's great.

Unfortunatly, I couldn't watch Takannosho's match often because of time.

But, I see him often at Chiganoura-beya's twitter.

”Takanosho, he is mixing natto so seriously and he have lost himself".

(Do you know "natto"? It is Japanese very popular traditional food.)

”How did you used the prize money you got?"

Takanosho says--"I gave it to my master."

Chiganoura-oyakata, Takanosho's master says-- "You have not given it to me yet!"

Chiganoura-beya's twitter is very nice, isn't it?

They looks like fun.

I sometimes go to see wrestler's arrival and departure in front of Kokugikan. But usually I don't take their pictures.

Because I know I don't have the ability to make them nice smile at the moment  when I activate a camera shutter.

But I think, I can take the picture of his good smile if it is Takanosho's.

Because he has very nice face expression anytime.

I looked "Takanosho" up on the internet, and the word "Onigiri" came up. Onigiri means rice balls.

It is said that Takanosho's face looks like rice balls, and he called "Onigiri."

"I had more wins than losses at this first time tournament in makuuchi. Thank you for your support. I will win more than 10 next time."

He finished this competition with a good result, a winning record. And I expect for him.
